Hi, I’m Anny!

I'm a lifelong hairdresser and self appointed hairdresser mentor. I’m here to share how I built a behind-the-chair career that I love. I share what worked, and also what didn’t.

You can think of me as your hair big sister, someone who always has your best interest at heart, will cheer you on and also deal you a hard truth when needed. 

I didn’t always have it figured out. I’ve simply put in the reps and have practiced for a long time. I've done this job from every seat: employee, chair renter, studio suite owner, and now, since 2018, owner of Be Rosie Salon. I've built a team, made every early mistake there is, and figured out my way through pricing, boundaries, client relationships, and everything in between. 

Pricing is the one thing I actually charge for. Opening my salon forced me to take a hard look at my business. My pricing was a mess. I spent years fixing it. I ended up with a pricing system that worked for me, and also for my team. This is what I believe changed my business, what allowed me to have more time off, more profit, and to ultimately transition from being behind-the-chair full time to working with only a few, select clients.

My system is called Pricing Isn't Personal, and it's for hairdressers who want a structured system, not just a pep talk. But most of what I know I simply share. I do this because I believe that being a hairdresser is a legitimate career worthy of value, freedom and choice. I’m here to help you get that.
